The former president Donald Trump encouraged gun owners to vote for the 2024 elections as he spoke with thousands of members of National Rifle Association who officially endorsed Trump just before Trump took his place on the stage of their annual meeting, held in Texas Saturday.
Trump stated, “We have to get gun owners out to vote.” I think you are a rebellious group. Let’s rebel and vote.
In his speech, Mr. Trump said that the Second Amendment was “very much on the ballot.” He also claimed that if Democratic president Joe Biden gets four more years, “they will come for your guns 100% certain.” Crooked Joe’s 40-year history of attempting to take firearms from law-abiding people is a record.
The Biden Administration has taken steps to combat gun violence. This includes a new regulation that is intended to close a loophole which has allowed unlicensed dealers to sell tens and thousands of guns every year without performing background checks.
Trump has promised to defend the Second Amendment which he says is “under siege” and has described himself as “the best gun owner friend the White House has ever had.” The United States is facing record numbers of deaths from mass shootings. The United States has seen record numbers of deaths due to mass shootings. Last year, there were 42 mass murders and 217 fatalities.
Biden has criticized the presumptive Republican nominee, particularly for comments that Mr. Trump had made after a shooting at a Iowa school this year. Mr. Trump initially called the incident “very horrible” but later said that “we must get over it.” We must move on.
Mr. Trump also attacked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during his speech. He called him “radical” and “a catastrophe,” and noted that Mr. Kennedy once called the NRA “a terror group.”
“Don’t even think about it.” He said, “Don’t waste your votes.” “He calls you terrorists, but I call you America’s backbone.” Kennedy said later in an interview with Fox News that he did not remember the tweet he sent last year. He said, “I do not consider them to be a terrorist group and I support Second Amendment.”
Mr. Trump said that he would be speaking at the Libertarian Party convention next week and urged its members to vote him.
He said, “We must join them.” We can’t risk Joe Biden being elected.
On Saturday morning, the Republican National Committee and Mr. Trump’s campaign announced that a new coalition called “Gun Owners for Trump”, which includes gun rights activists as well as those in the firearms industries, had been formed.
Mr. Biden made curbing gun violence a key part of his administration, and of his re-election campaign. He created the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, which is overseen by Vice president Kamala Harris. Mr. Biden has also urged Congress on the issue of banning so-called assault rifles, something Democrats avoided just a few short years ago.
Ammar Moussa, spokesman for Biden, said: “Tonight Donald Trump confirmed he would do what the NRA told him to do, even if that meant more deaths, more shootings and more suffering.”
While Mr. Trump served as president, he made several pledges to strengthen gun legislation. After the Parkland high school shooting that left 17 dead and 17 wounded, Mr. Trump assured survivors and their families that he was “very strict” on background checks. He said he would take on the NRA, but then he backed down and said there wasn’t much political support.
On Saturday, as the hush-money trial nears its final week, Mr. Trump brought up criminal cases against himself and accused Democrats that they were behind the cases since he was Mr. Biden’s opponent.
He said, “Never forget that our enemies are trying to steal my freedom. I won’t let them do it.”
Mr. Trump criticised Mr. Biden’s border policies and repeated his pledge to order the largest deportation operation in domestic history. He talked about abortion, and warned Republicans to not be so extreme in their abortion views to remain electable.
“In my view, Republicans haven’t been speaking intelligently about it.” He said that they haven’t spoken about it intelligently. Remember, speak your truth. You also need to be re-elected.
